NYC Mugged - Exploring all the best coffee in New York City

Parked on the corner of Greene & Prince in SoHo, the Van Leeuwen Ice Cream truck is now serving Intelligentsia Coffee as the weather starts to cool! Not sure how well I would be able to negotiate the packed streets of SoHo with ice cream in one hand and coffee in the other, but the two flavors definitely go well together. Maybe they can throw together an affogato on request? Laura from Van Leeuwen confirmed that they do indeed offer affogatos! Can’t wait to give them a try.

Grub Street: Van Leeuwen Serves Intelligentsia in the Off-Season

I had a chance to stop by La Colombe Torrefaction‘s second Manhattan location in Soho yesterday, and I’ll say that I was quite impressed. The place is small with high ceilings and several tables to sit and sip your beverage of choice while also enjoying some of their pastries provided by Ceci-Cela. I love their ornate cups and saucers, and the wood tables and benches do much to complement the overall atmosphere.

Cappuccinos will run you $3.50, and you can take home their beans for some home brewing.
